Spring is now approaching fast so this means more snow in the Mountains. Joan and I are getting ready for our upcoming gig at THE MARKET AT 3 SISTERS BISTRO here in town. This is an excellent cafe style setting which features the opportunity to enjoy an evening meal during the show. The show starts at 6:30 on Saturday March 23rd and the $10.00 admission includes 1 drink!
My visit to Toronto was most excellent and included a lot of 'family time' which was long overdue. The trip also included a visit to Orchard Park Elementary School in Burlington where I played some tunes, answered a ton of questions and signed autograpghs for the Grade 3 and 4 classes. The set included The Good Old Hockey Game as a tribute to Stompin Tom who had passed away just days before.
On March 12th I got together with my brother, Gary 17 of Toronto Moon fame along with my good bud Don Hulse to do some sets at the Dora Keogh on the Danforth in TO. A great time was had by all and we were also fortunate to Have Pete Otis do a set.
That is the news for now, but, I would be very interested in hearing from you should you require some musical entertainment for your next special event. I have a good catalogue of songs, both my own and some killer covers which I can tailor to meet your needs. And I can also get a 'little help from my friends' like Joan and my buddy Ray Reddekop should you require more than a solo artist.
There are a number of ways for you to listen to my songs: You can preview a one minute clip of all 10 songs by going to Ric's Music on this site.
